MAKE-A-BRIDGE® PRODUCER MAADI GROUP PROFILED IN LA SEIGNEURIE NEWS ARTICLE

August 28, 2015 – Boucherville, Québec, CANADA- A sign that the official opening of MAADI Group facilities has not gone unnoticed in the local community, the engineering firm that specializes in the manufacture of traditional structures, but above all, the innovative Make-A-Bridge® pedestrian bridges, has been profiled in an August 26, 2015 article in the online Boucherville journal, La Seigneurie.

Following the inauguration of the manufacturing facility and office of MAADI Group in Boucherville on July 17, the political environment in which stakeholders and the business sector, clients, partners, and friends of the firm gathered to celebrate in a relaxed atmosphere the new production line, was reported in the text of the regional newspaper, explaining in detail what constitutes the Make-A-Bridge® footbridges.

The modular aluminum pedestrian bridges know as Make-A-Bridge® are easy to transport and assemble, a weld-free “Meccano” style modular system that is designed to be installed quickly without the need for a skilled workforce, and is used in industrial, commercial or residential applications, both inside and outside.  The structures are sturdy, will not corrode and are suitable for all types of weather conditions, especially when they are exposed to saltwater environments where strong winds blow or regions whose temperatures can be freezing for long periods, as is the case in northern Québec and Nunavut.

“The fact that a local newspaper has decided to devote an article is suggestive of the scope of our reach,” says Alexandre de la Chevrotière, P. Eng., and president of the firm.  ”Although we have developed business in every corner of the planet,” he added in a reference to contracts won in the Philippines, the U.S., the Caribbean, and west of the country, “we maintain close links with the Montreal area and throughout the province.  We are flattered that La Seigneurie decided to inform the citizens of Boucherville of our existence and to describe so well the cornerstone of our technical research, our modular aluminum Make-A-Bridge® pedestrian bridges.  We believe that we are only in our first steps, even with our initial successes.  With all the major infrastructure projects discussed in recent years, aluminum will probably soon be seen as a must, especially because of the long-term economic benefits that its use entails.  In short, we are ready to move into high gear now that we make our way without pedestrian bridges here in Boucherville.”
